Oh, and I think Costa's old dragsters were for sale in Omao. He had a for sale sign, but it looks like he still has both. Might be able to get a good deal.

found out that its not the costa's one, its the guys with the winnebego (sp?) selling theirs one, one of costa's old one that he sold a few years back. from what i hear, they want 8,000 for it, i'll pass on that one. looking more for a rolling chasis since my son got a few years more before he can actually drive it on the track. maui has one for sale that is complete for 4500.

Didn't I say Costa's old one? But I didn't know they wanted that much. I guess that's why they still have it.

Modify it with a street bike motor and make it so you can fit in it. There was one of those on craigs list awhile back..had a 600cc gixer motor, I was going to try this but you need to custom the back half of the frame.

Do it. But just remember to put me in your will before you start driving it. Hahahahaha!!! Did you see those street bike powered go karts on StreetFire and YouTube? Those things are crazy nuts.

yup..I watched al those vids on the gixxerkart, I was acutally going to try it but I was having a hard time finding out how they made the frames. My boss has a 99 gixer 600 at suzuki kauai that they owner gave to him because it needed new carbs and he couldnt pay the bill so my boss told me I could buy it from him for $200 and he would order me the carbs through suzuki.. but since I didnt have money or plans I think one of the girls that works there bought it?

Shifter karts are fricken expensive. But loads of fun. Kids rock on those things. I guess that's why so many pro drivers are super young.

If you know or come across a site let me know!.. I didnt dig up much that was useful, the mounts are easy just need to find good blueprints for the kart frame. I was looking at one that a guy had from checkers, one of the offroad style, but Id rather be able to drift with it!
