Um, yeah. Especially, since you're probably going to spend more than me, Tisha and fonto put together. Probably be sick if one of us put only $20 into a machine and win big. Hahahahahaha!!! Sorry, but I gotta laugh at that thought.

I tried calling waipahu store but never get one answer. its better to call the mainland. waipahu store adds in additional charges on top of the website prices plus inbound/outbound shipping charges etc...i called today, he thought he put me on hold but he didn't and he was telling the other sales man he gotta add in the additional prices on top of the mainland price. also if you order from the mainland, you get the wheels faster cause it comes straight to you. if you order from the waipahu store, it goes from mainland to honolulu to waipahu store to young brothers to kauai, then you gotta pick em at nawiliwili.

Yeah, what I meant was your truck looks similar enough to his that you might have slightly less chance getting pulled over in the first place. been hearing that get choke complaints about his truck and warren tavares too, but now warren one game warden. gotta watch out now cause people getting crafty -what they doing is calling/writing the mayor's office directly with specific trucks that are outrageously wide and high. Then it goes from the mayor's office to the police chief, then to Scribner, then he comes looking for you.

Thanks for the tip. If had cheyennes in 16x10 i'd be all over it. I was looking at the velocity 6's though. kinda growing to like it.

But shit, if the person who did it now sees that it worked cause the truck is not on the road anymore, they might just do it to more people.

Ive had alot of guys come in with the tires sticking past the flares and they think its ok because they have flares, and I have to explain that the flare must cover to the edge of the tread..if not then they need flares and mudguards or bigger flares.

I wonder how low they have to be. It doesn't give any specific dimension. "...for adequate protection to effectively protect against spray or slash of water, mud, rocks, or debris that could be propelled by the tires." One person's "pass" could be another person's "fail". hyspeed, how low do you make them go? Halfway down the tire height? I wouldn't wanna have your job.

I go for about halfway... if they look like they cut them then I say its not adequate enough.. Usually if I explain it nice enough people are pretty understanding, the ones who throw a fit are mostly from out of state... I just turn and walk away when the continue yappin, until they yell at me "so you wont pass me!?" and I turn to say "NOPE!!" even when they offer me like a extra $20 ::)I just ask them if they are willing to pay all my bills after I lose my job for getting the shop suspended so they can have a $15 sticker. The hardest part is the fact Im turning away potential customers who might benefit from our other services..but they might never come back just because Im following the rules from the DMV and trying not to get a fat fine and my license revoked! personally Id rather we not do safetys so I could focus more on shop efficency and customer satisfaction... but I do make $.50 for every form I sign and I do about 500 inspections per month so they are a nice bonus with my paycheck and the rest covers the shops rent and electric.

flaps and flares are so useless though. both times i got my windshield cracked it was NOT from a lifted truck. Once I was following a Honda accord and the other was passing a stock Ford Ranger. Oh and one time i cracked my uncle's windshield following a rig - those trailor mudflaps are huge dont do shit cause i was following FAR behind and the rock still busted it. Maybe if i was closer it would've gone over my roof haha
